The European Commission defines sustainable development as "meeting the needs of present generations without jeopardizing the ability of future generations to meet their own needs". In line with the goals of MedVenture, this philosophy promises a better life for people with a clearer long term vision through local and global action aimed at tackling social, economic and environmental challenges together.
Through its collaboration with Intrasoft International, MedVenture has promoted sustainability in Europe and beyond by producing hundreds of texts on the successes of EU-funded projects related to a sustainable future, focusing on topics such as preserving biodiversity, combatting pollution, promoting eco-materials, and furthering a greener economy. Its work in this area has proudly contributed to making the results and findings of these projects accessible to all Europeans through the EU's Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS). A sample of the articles on the below projects that we have written includes:
- Indicators for a Resource efficient Europe
- Sustainable consumption research exchanges
